A Dice-Card Game For Two Players

Equipment:
One deck of cards; one die.

Object of the game:
Get the most cards.

Ages:
6+

Time for play:
5 minutes

Description:
Players utilize motor skills, logic, reasoning.

The Play:
Shuffle the cards, place them face down within easy reach of both players.
Cards have face value: Ace=1. Jack = 10, Queen = 10, King=Zero.
First player rolls the die to get a number. He then turns that number of cards over, one at a time, onto the start of three different stacks of cards. (this section of the rules is removed until purchase)
The second player now does the same, rolls the die to get a number, and then starts his own three stacks butted up against the three stacks of his opponent, attempting to leave a higher card on top of his stack than his opponent's. Say he rolls a 3. He may place three cards in any order (this section of the rules is removed until purchase)
Play ends when the last card is turned over.
Player with the most cards wins.
