A card-dice game for two players

Equipment:
Two Dice, one Deck of Cards.
Object of the game:
Get the highest total of cards added together.
The Play:
After shuffling the deck, turn over 12 cards in succession in 12 different positions, (two rows of six cards each,1-2-3-4-5-6 and then 7-8-9-10-11-12 placed adjacent to the first six cards for ease of playing.)

The cards removed for counting would be the cards in the 2 position, the 5 position and the 7 position (since 2+5=7).
Another example: Numbers rolled on the dice are 6 and 6. Cards removed would be the card in the (this section of the rules is removed until purchase)
The second player then takes his turn by turning over cards and placing them in the empty positions left by the first player. For example, if the first player removed cards from the 2, 5 and 7 position, (this section of the rules is removed until purchase)
Play ends when there are not enough cards to fill an empty position.
Players then add up their total as follows: Face cards have no value. (this section of the rules is removed until purchase)
Variations: Play to a specified number, i.e. 100, 200, 500, etc.
Play with partners.
